Nope. But if you mount it in OS 9.2.2 or older and do anything but read the files, the long names go *POOF*. If it was a real hard drive, all you'd have to do is plug it into the OSX Mac. But OSX does litter PC volumes/drives with tons of files that all begin with these characters ._ Does that instead of littering PC volumes with desktop.db, trash and other folders and files.
