I'm looking for the final version 2.0 of Winternals NTFS for Win98. Winternals DOES NOT SELL OR SUPPORT this product and has removed all info about it from their site.
Don't confuse this with SYSINTERNALS read only NTFS driver for Windows 98. They do not have a version with write capability. The filename they used for all versions was ntfs98.exe The latest I've been able to locate is version 2 BETA. Version 2.0 works with all versions of NTFS and was the update for the changes introduced by Windows XP. The file size for 2.0 should be 960K or more. The version can be identified by launching the program and waiting until the dialog comes up after it's unpacked itself. Then exit the install. The filename used for the free, read only version, was ntfs98ro.exe That's no longer available from the Winternals site. I can find the final version of that everywhere, but I need WRITE access to an NTFS drive directly connected to a Windows 98 system. It will be total Fandemonium!
