Although I've never done this myself (note the disclaimer!!) from
what I've read I'd go for a LocalTalk link between the two Macs. I
believe a printer cable for a LocalTalk (Laserwriter?) printer ought
to do the trick, which I would guess are still available from Mac
suppliers. My copy of "Sad Macs, Bombs and Other Disasters" 3rd
Edition has the instructions as to how to set up the two Macs'
software.

Check the Pickle's Vintage Mac FAQ for which there is (or was the
last time I looked) a link on the LEM home page for more hints and
tips. If you didn't know this is also the FAQ for the LEM Vintage
Mac mailing list and was a useful source of info when I was tinkering
with my LCIII (all in the past now I've "modernised" up to a 7200/75!)

If you want to spend a bit of money, you could always invest in two
ethernet PDS cards suitable for the LCII and LC475. They seem to
come up regularly and cheaply (5 to 10) on eBay and would give
these two Macs a bit more stretch potential.
