Hi Mike!

Wahey! It is a bit of a grim crunching noise ain't it.

I've seen the same problem on my Stylus 740 at home and used some
thin compressor oil (the type used for keeping an airbrush compressor
working) and also on a Stylus Photo 1200 at the studio.

The 1200 got a bit mangled and broke off one of the white plastic
paper guides, the Epson repair service is fantastic, phoned them on
Thursday late afternoon, they picked it up Friday and the repaired
1200 was back and operational by Monday morning. :-)

Best regards
Neil

Currently pondering how to make an adapter to fit and power a 7 pin
Kritter SV ("apple" s-video) webcam onto a 4 pin ("regular" s-video)
input port on my Formac ProTV. Can't seem to get hold of a female 7
pin mini-DIN socket from anywhere in the world. :-(
