Both are replaceable totally FOC by Apple UK. Go to an authorised Apple Service Agent (or whatever they call themselves.) I had my 5300 totally refurbed last year FOC - and I'd got it cheap because of the cracked case. Didn't have any proof of purchase to show, or anything! Stuart.
