You need to install the 601 upgrade card extensions for th Mac OS you
are running. You can do this by re-installing and just custom-adding the
items or doing a clean install. If you have a Mac on the internet you
can d/l System 7.1 via Gamba's site or System 7.5.5 from apple's site.
There are links to the system enabler matrix on my site, under MacOS,
that tells you what enabler you need for the 601 upgrade. Also ask the
QuadList.

The Apple CD-ROM v5.3.1 (available at Gamba's) runs virtually any CD
drive around at or for some time after it.
