Re Comm Slot II cards, I was looking for one and had to resort to eBay US in the end after trying all UK sources like VIS, Clocktower, etc.
I purchased a Farallon 10/100 for my 6500. They turn up every so often. Count around $30 to $40 + shipping to the UK and potential customs duty if the parcel gets stopped (pot luck). Apple's CSII which are just 10 tend to go for $25.
