Welcome to the club.
I use 9.1 on a Pulsar 250DP with 256MB Ram and find it is the most stable
pre OS X to date. It is snappy, fast and has never crashed.

I use XP at work and find that it is "too clunky". I use Win98SE at home and
find that it is extremely stable and is great for running games. I do not
intend to upgrade it to XP ever.
