I have two operating systems 7.5.5 and 8.6 on LC II and Powermac 7200. PC Exchange is bundled with both of them. If you want I could send you a copy or you could do a Google search. Whether it would cure the problem I do not know although you might try. When the PC Exchange is not in the Control panels folder the computer should not freeze. You should simply get the alert - The disc is not recognised by this computer. Do you want to intialise it.
