Thanks for the info. I have decided to put the 6400 board back in its original case, and stick a Quadra 630 board in the 5200 case. The Q630 isn't frustrated by the 5200 shortcomings and runs 8.1 quite happily. It has the mpeg card in its PDS, has the complete video/telly sub system and has a ethernet card fitted. I have installed a 40mhz 68k CPU, and will upgrade the board in the future.
After checking the "6400 zone" site I have decided to slowly upgrade this excellent piece of hardware. I installed 9.1 on it yesterday and was surprised that it feels as fast as my Pulsar 250 (probably isn't). I intend to network all three machines with 10/100 ethernet and set them up to run Marathon with my mates.
