Nope - affraid not. The board does not carry the 'SWIM' (super Wozniak integrated machine) chip required to run a SuperDrive 1.4MB floppy. The Mac/128 Mac 512, Plus and early dual floppy SEs all use the 'IWM' (incredible Wozniak machine) floppy controller that is only able to handle 400k and 800k drives. -- Mark Benson AIM - SilValleyPirate Visit FlatPackMacs online: <http://fpm.gotdns.com> Visit my Homepage: <http://homepage.mac.com/markbenson> "Never send a human to do a machine's job." -The Matrix -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
