is this the one you see once you slide out the plastic base plate next 
to the  screw down monitor cable? I've taken apart a couple of rev b's 
(tray load) before - i assume this is like the one you are upgrading. 
Its a bit of a stiff plug. i think the tab pushes in rather than down 
if i remember correctly.
