Well John, the Mac destined for the skip (but not before putting a brick
through it no less!) came from a friend of my sister who is based in
Wellington, Taunton.

Looks like the original owner was some kind of CAD/design guy, as it came
with Turbocad, Macdraw Pro, Landscaping software, filemaker pro etc.

I revisited my old school a couple of years ago, and found their art
department had beige G3 Mac's. About three or four of them I think. I wonder
what the chances would be of getting hold of them. They must have upgraded
by now. I've probably missed the boat on them I'd imagine.
