The reason people install OS X on a Mac that doesn't have the legs to do it is 'becuase I can'. however if you expect any practical use out of it (other than a headless server - my 7300 did that well in 10.1.5) then don't come whining here when it's too slow. It *is* an interesting experiment but it *isn't* a great user experience, hence why OS X is specced to only run on G3 and later CPUs (and you thought they were just trying to rip you off right?).
