OOPS I forgot one crucial bit that had me foxed for ages. To get the 
mac client workign with ICS, you need to set the  port to 85 in 
netscape and i.e.

For example: in IE, go to Prefs:proxies:tick use proxy server 
=192.168.0.1:settings button: port = 85

Oh yes, you'll need to set the proxy
settings in Netscape/ie to 192.168.0.1 as well. And you may not be
able to send email, though you can receive, it all depends on how
paranoid your ISP is.
