A long time ago (must be over 2 years now - more like 3) I foolishly paid for Visual MacStandardBasic (http://www.squirrelsw.com/vmsb.html) ... it's one of those "well, it's okay... but..." type situations. It's certainly capable of writing software in, but to be 100% honest I advise you to think twice about purchasing it. It's $29.95 now - sure I paid about $10 or $15 for it - and you'll be pretty disapointed with it if you have ever used VB4+ or something like RealBasic.
There was a copy of RuntimeRevolution on the front of PC Pro this month. I wonder if it is on any Mac magazine cover discs? I haven't looked at the PC version yet, but if it's anything like the CodeWarrior, that was on their cover disc a while back, it's PC only, but you *can* develop for the Mac too. Bummer.
