Hello Folk, Having installed OSX Jaguar 10.2:
Certain applications loaded at first, and later on quit on start up . All other applications work ok, including big ones, and classic. Ab dialler worked fine at first and now quits at start up with the dialogue 'unknown error' Memory stick just 'unexpectedly quits'. Cocktail (the utility) installed ok and loads up but the menu is innactive. I then did a new install, saving the old preferences etc. and archiving the old system, after I got a bad jumbled barly legible screen on restart. Fine. But the same applications quit in the same way. Their preference files cannot be found y inspection or search in the user preferences, or the system library /preferences. I have upgraded to 10.28 and the same behaiour persists. Can anyone ffer suggestions, or a similar story?
