Hi Kinda off the subject but...
How did you get 500 mb of ram in it? I thought the 233s only took 192mb or is it not a G3 series. check out http://www.apple-history.com/ if you could, and see which machine you have as I have a 1997 Powerbook G3 and its sadly lacking in ram at 144mb and i'd love to boost it a bit. btw if you have the 1998 G3 Series it says on that site there was an optional DVD-Rom for the hot swappable 5.25" bay.
