You will need the Quicktime Pro MPEG-2 component to go the Quicktime iMovie Route this is in addition to the Quicktime Pro Licence.

You will also need an authoring app to create the DVD image, if you have a superdrive in your mac you can use iDVD if not you will need one of the many free tools available, I would suggest perhaps using Sizzle.

If your movie is longer than the standard 4.7 Gb DVD Duration you could recompress it to fit (although quality decreases in proportion to duration) using a freeware app called Minx Transcoder.
