Sim City 2000 works brilliantly in classic under 10.3.2, but then I am running a decent G4.

So is it still possible to get one of the older SimCity versions that
might run on an older, slower G3? Preferably running OS X - she's got
10.2.8 on the Lombard.

Hi there,

You can download Sim City 2000 and various other Sim games (Sim Ant, Sim
Earth, Sim Tower etc) from the Macintosh Garden which is at:

http://mac.the-underdogs.org/

As you'll see, there are loads and loads of games which she can download for
free there which will work on her Lombard.

Sim City 3000 (which I play quite a bit) you will usually see on eBay for a
few pounds. I think that's great fun, but the Sim City purists out there
seem to think that Sim City 2000 is the best version. However, I think all
of these will only work on OSX via Classic.

Hope this helps :-)
