Sorry to harp on about this but for about the last year I have been
receiving mail messages from Windows users which behave very strangely.
For example I have just printed out one I received yesterday which
came as two numbered paragraphs of text. The printout is flipped such
that if I hold it upside-down against a mirror I can read it! The
header is fine. I find also that if I try to reply to mails like this
by quoting the original the text goes haywire and characters get
swapped and piled on top of each other - a complete mess and,
eventually, typing makes no difference. To cure this I save as draft,
close and then open again and I can carry on until it all happens
again. Surely I am not the only person on the planet having to put up
with this. Anyone have ANY idea what is going on? It never applies to
mail received from Mac users and it only happens with certain Windows
users.
