Don't some character sets (fonts) only have a limited number of different
combinations and the default fonts we choose in our email programs for plain
text messages for lists like this may then have to convert to other sets to
allow the symbols or links to be used? That format could certainly be
rejected by the list...

For reasons like this I try not to use the Euro or GBP symbols, they can
come up funny on other language systems. Besides,

Puts on flame suit :-)

Soon the UK will have Euros as well, then we will have one less symbol issue
to worry about :^)

Admittedly, if I had taken the time to read the webpage correctly I would
have noticed that nice little Euro symbol before the 149 price...another of
my great inaccurate rants. Sorry bout that. Price is definitely better at 99
GBP.
