Hmmm, haven't used one of those, but I have used an original Bondi Blue iMac
(someone wanted me to repair it for them). I use an iMac DV which is a newer
model and uses convection cooling rather than an internal fan of the Bondi.

However, I found the Bondi to be as quiet as my iMac DV. I also found it to
be just as fast at most tasks, despite the Bondi being a 233MHz and 192Mb,
mine being 450MHz with 384Mb. I was really impressed by the nippiness of the
Bondi and would dig it if it were mine. Unfortunately the poor thing has to
live with a complete asshole of a six year old who was the cause of the
problems. He ripped the cable half out of the keyboard and killed the mouse.
Its taken a hell of a lot of other abuse too, but keeps on ticking. That
little Bondi's a star.

So does an eMac sound like a buzzing fridge then?
