Hi all, Just been ferreting around and found this website. Its basically loads of arcane info about the Mac's 20 year history, probably lost of human angles so its not all dry:
http://www.digibarn.com/stories/mac20/index.html Also found a site about the upcoming Classic Gaming Expo taking place in London near the end of July, featuring loads of running comps from the late 70's- early 90's. Looks like fun on a stick to me :) http://www.cgexpo-uk.com/ That page also contains a pic of Code Masters' Oliver Twins, who I haven't seen since they were promoting BMX Sim on telly about 18 years ago, they're like balding accountants now! I remember when they were lads. Damn time! Also also, don't forget to have a look at this site: http://www.old-computers.com/news/default.asp Full of specs, pics and rundowns of old machines. First time I've seen a CPC464 since 1988, and even a PC1512 (a machine I inherited off my brother and toyed unsuccessfully with until I sold it and put the money toward a shiny new Amiga, hurrah! Yep, its a slow day here in south west dullsville. And too hot to go out! -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
