In addition to the above, I can also confirm that the RAM limit of the B&W G3 is 1GB, 
it will if given the right 512MB sticks, take 2 of those in Slots 1 and 2 but all RAM 
installed in the upper 2 sockets will subsequently be ignored. I've never tried it 
myself so I can't confirm, but I believe that is the case.
