I'm told 10.3 won't work with any USB ADSL modem.
The USB modem BT supply (or supplied) doesn't work with 10.3 although it did with 10.2. I don't know if that's true of all USB modems though. USB modems, unlike Ethernet ones, require a driver so it just depends whether or not one's available.
Which underlines why USB modems should be avoided like the plague; you're held hostage by the availability of drivers.
Oh definitely! But the good thing with mine is that it has available drivers... Even a Linux source tarball! :-D But thats what gets me, even with the linux driver source code, not only do you have to recompile your kernel with the code in (I have never managed to successfully compile ANYTHING! Thank god for pre-compiled RPMs!) It is still deemed "the worst USB ADSL modem to use with linux!)
