Anyway, my question.....is the battery the same in the CRT slot-loader iMac as it is in the B&W? It looks like it is.
I had to renew the battery in my G3 400MHz slot-loading iMac DV recently (it lasted four years). It was a half size AA Lithium cell - identical to the ones that go into LCs (the pizza boxes, remember). About four quid from Maplin.
