In my long running episode of upgrading a B&W G3, I can now report that I
have finally got a G4/700 running. On a surprising note, I have had to
change the jumper settings (many thanks to Sonnet for getting back with the
correct settings) so that the system runs with a 66Mhz bus, not a 100mhz
one. If this impacts on performance, I will let you know.

I was under the impression only the G4/1GHz upgrade required a bus down-clock. That's not a great thing to have to do, it will slow the machine down significantly.

Am currently benchmarking the setup with Norton.
