When moving to OSX recently I took out a free trial 60 day mac.com account. Surprisingly (to me at any rate!), I was immediately billed for it on my credit card. Being perhaps too naive, I'd expected to be asked at the end of the 60 day period if I wished to continue before being billed. However, I don't want to continue with mac.com and simply want a refund.

It's definitely a fault somewhere. I've opened trial accounts and never been asked for payment details, let alone charged. In fact I opened a new trial account just now to check and there's no payment option. Are you sure you didn't press the wrong button when you joined?
