Running DW on a drive via target disk mode should be OK. I can remember
contacting Alsoft support regarding the results from DW when I did this
once - told them I was running it via target disk mode (checking an OSX
laptop from an OS 9.2.2 machine - needed 512MB+ on the latter to report
all the warnings!) and they never told me it wasn't supported.
