The Lide 30 seems to have been replaced by the Lide 35. This latter has USB 2, which my PB doesn't offer. Normally I wouldn't be concerned with this as for data transfer USB 2 is supposed to be backwardly-compatible with uSB1.1 (ust slower, of course). However the spec also says that it gets its power from the USB connection. Does anyone know if powering a USB 2.0 device from a USB 1.1 port will work?

What was the spec on the Lide 30? Was it USB 1.1 or 2?
