it is a good point Brian but I doubt it is worth much, especially now sound has died. The idea is that I can carry on using it as a PowerBook and, as I wont use it much outwith the office, I could moor it adjacent to the big monitor and use it as a secondary monitor. i had thought that there was a facility with these PowerBooks to do that but blowed if I can figure it out. Maybe it is just for mirroring but I thought not.
