Definitely get more RAM...128MB will work, but it'll probably be painful once you start running anything and if you need to launch the Classic environment it'll be a disaster. If it was me, I'd aim for at least 512MB - I've got a G3 iBook with 384MB and it doesn't take too long to start paging quite severely (I do run quite a few applications at the same time, though none are real heavyweights and I suspect there's some kind of memory leak going on as well because I end up restarting the iBook every couple of weeks to get it back up-to-speed). You'll probably tell me now that you're running 10.1 or 10.2 on it at the moment and 128MB has been fine :-) Neil -- Mac UK is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... 123Inkjets.com <http://lowendmac.com/ad/123inkjets.html> Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> Mac UK list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/mac-uk.shtml> --> AOL users, remove "mailto:" Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-uk%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Mac?
