There is one virtue of a UK only list that eBay would rarely have: it would have the potential to bring Mac users face to face, should they wish it. We freaks (as the PC-only brigade doubtless sees us) tend to support one another and like to share our enthusiasm. It's not just talk about the Blue Screen of Death, or the latest worm, or my graphics card is faster than yours! :D

Hi Andy

I would like to see a UK only Swap List

In the South West we have very little access to Mac items.

The used Computer shops are mostly Windows only.

The likes of PC World have a very small Mac section at very high prices.

I have to look and see if a Windows PC item could be used on a Mac and choose
carefully as returning is usually taboo.

So an alternative supply would be welcome.

I really can't see any list competing with eBay. For better or worse, they offer so many potential buyers that it's worth paying the fees!
