I suspect the RAM or CPU , as it is almost stable under 9.1 but crashes all the time under 9.2 or X

Does it have third party RAM added and, if so, have you tried it with only the original Apple RAM? OS X was fussier about RAM (I believe there was a utility that would test it) and it was often possible to get unsuitable chips replaced by the manufacturer.
