As you folk are probably aware, Google has for some months been beta
testing their new web based email service - GMail. They have been
bringing new users in to the beta scheme by referral through batches
of invites delivered to the existing subscribers.

Primary advantage is 1 Gb of storage for your mail. There's a spell
checker, spam filter, labels and 'actions'. There's no need to delete
anything. You can archive whole lists and search the contents and
that's my primary use. I still use POP mail for my business and
personal mail. Forums, lists go into GMail.

I have 50 invites. Previously they've been farming them out to us in
batches of 6.

Anyone want a GMail account - let me know.
