Yes I did and, yes, I knew it was end-of-line. It's just that I can't really think of an 18 month old machine being so 'old' that you have to go through the hassle of paying for a media swap (DVD -> CD). Mind you, that's just me - my job involves keeping old legacy software running so I'm probably a bit of an upgrade 'scrooge'.
