Under Safari prefs disable the "open safe files after downloading
option" this will only allow the file to download to desktop then you
can just bin it !

belongs in the Widget folder. Once in your Widget folder you still
have to enable it but even that could be automated with a script.
It's ALWAYS a good idea to switch OFF open safe files. For some
reason Safari considers .zip files safe. Besides, I like deciding
myself to unzip or activate a file I just downloaded.
