My point exactly, Malcolm - they're _not_ cheap, but still very
affordable
compared to seriously upgrading an older machine. If you're an
enthusiast,
then ok - else it's not a cost-effective solution.
My point was you'll find those machines FAR cheaper than that dealers
prices, so a meaningless comparison.
Out of curiosity, which sources would you recommend? Second hand Macs
always seem to be somewhat expensive, but perhaps I've not been
looking in the best places.
