I've tried the adding .ppt to the file name, and the PC still won't

Gee ... running out of options here ... will PowerPoint on PC see/open
it from within the File/Open ... dialog box?
No.
Consider moving the Mac into the meeting room and running the
presentation that way?
Eeeek......it's an eMac and rather large, but I may have to do that
as a last resort. My old Powerbook is *very* old (OS8)and won't run
this PowerPoint, but hmmmm....maybe I have time to a QuickTime
presentation on it and take that, I dunno....no I can't, just
realised, I will have to copy photos and I don't think the old PB
will manage.
Am now going to see if not using Toast will make a difference first.
Thanks for the ideas :)
