My old telly/video/cheapo DVD player are getting towards end of life and the prospect of being able to replace the tangle of cables and boxen with a tiny minimac and a widescreen HD monitor/telly plumbed into the Sky box is very tempting. If the new minimac could decode the Sky signals (highly unlikely) then even better.
If they price it right and and make it compatible with the current/new LCD HD TV/monitors that are appearing almost daily, I reckon that Apple could do an iPod job with home TV/cinema and become a major player in this area.
