I typed out a long reply, but forgot to change the subject line away from "Mac UK Digest number whatever", so when I pressed send I lost the LOT.
This doesn't happen in Usenet. The gist of my reply is, there's nothing wrong with my hardware except possibly the memory to which I upgraded (2 x 64M PC100). I'll put the 3 X 32M PC66 SDRAM back in, and try upgrading again, although I was trying to avoid doing this, as it's a serious waste of time putting everything back again if it doesn't work.
