Not a PCI card but have you tried a wireless bridge or gaming adapter
that plugs into the ethernet port? I'm using a Netgear WGE111 with a
G3 iMac (admittedly with Panther) and it was simply plug and play when
connecting it to the Netgear wireless router, although the settings
could be set via a web browser. I think you have to make sure the make
of adapter is compatible with the router/access point. I discovered a
Belkin bridge would not link to the Netgear router.
