Hello -

It may be that you are the cause of this action. Point in case: 'one' of the most obvious points to the fact: is that you do NOT post correctly.

I am NOT trying to 'beat you up', so to speak - just want to make a point or two, that should make your Internet experience - much more pleasant and equally as pleasant to others, who have to read your posts to this List and others for that matter.

EXAMPLE - this 'non-quoted' Post of yours shown directly below and then some rules and considered points:

<If from contains .ru>?

That should work.

I don't know if anyone with a .mac account has noticed a huge upsurge of spam from around Christmas time but, suddenly, I went from a two or three spams a weeks situation to five or six a day. Which may seem reasonable to some but that is a "closed" address which should not have been tainted from the outside. I send them - expanded - to the spam meister but I have no idea if this makes any difference. Certainly the flow does not slow. What I would like to do is set a rule for bouncing all mails which come from an address with a .ru suffix but I can find no way to do this. Has anyone else managed to set up such a rule?

... At the 1st or 2nd look or for that matter - ANY look - at your
message by anyone, INCLUDING YOURSELF - would show that you have poor
NetEtiquette.

To Wit:

Why would anyone attach two (2) trailers to an email that had a four
(4) word comment in its message position as well as ALL the BLANK
space, as well?

If you read the List at all - you will see - that YOU and a bit of
others DO what you do and have done = take up a horrible amount of
bandwidth - for a piddley Post, as well as jump on someone who has
offered a suggestion. A suggestion which most people already know -
because THEY read the RULES and play the game.

It is obvious that you do NOT play the game and be a good sport - as
98% of List members on ANY LIST do.

It could be suggested that perhaps someone or many, have taken it
upon themselves to 'show you a lesson' for, I would think, obvious
reasons.

My SUGGESTION: Read the Rules of the List and practice NetEtiquette
- like everyone else does.

Your manner of posting (and your surely attitude towards suggestions
given to you by earnest members, in good spirit, I am sure) - is
quite the bore.

Try following the game plan - and perhaps in the future - you will
not have the problems, you seem to be experiencing now.

Just make a post - make it like most others do - make it brief - in a
good manner AND everyone's sake = leave off ALL that baggage at the
end.

You need NOT do that - as it 'IS' on EVERY 'List' that exists.

No one else appears to have your problem - nor your bad 'Internet'
manners.
