Can someone please refer me to the origins of this thread as I think
I have lost the plot. Is this list being changed to another host?

Yah, I have found the same problem. I can receive messages from the
google lists, but I cannot post to them (despite twice doing the
complete registration dance)
I don't seem to be the only one in this situation, so, pain
here... If
that's not solved, I'll have to leave the lists as I can't manage
them in
the way that's more convenient to me (and that works with all other
countless lists I subscribe to) and I'm certainly not gonna use
the google
webinterface as it's highly inconvenient for my purpose.
I agree, it's far more pleasant to use in my own mail client.
