I don't know exactly.. I'm just shaking a stick in the dark here..
I think all the mail servers are accessed pretty much the same way. So 
I would think you could simply replace "qmail" with "sendmail" and that 
could work. Or even do "man sendmail" (and somewhere else "man qmail") 
and compare the flags that perl sends to qmail and put the appropriate 
one's for sendmail. That should do the trick.
