I am webmaster for a photography site:
http://www.cookephoto.com
We are trying to get people to actually **read** our "To Buy One" page, before they send an email to John Byrne Cooke. We have tentatively agreed that this line added to each gallery page will work:
<p class="labeltext">
<strong>To buy a print of this image, please see <a href="buy.html">To Buy One</a></strong>
</p>
We want to add it right after the paragraph that has a detailed description of the photo and the setting. This paragraph also has a class of "labeltext." Here is the one example:
http://www.cookephoto.com/warmup.html
Now........not all pages have a <p class="labeltext"></p>. I tried a grep command:
<p class="labeltext">\r.*?\r</p>
(BBEdit 6.5 seems to have added the \r for some reason?)
I was thinking of tagging on the new line for a replace, but then I would have to find all the files that do NOT have a labeltext paragraph.
Is grep the wrong tool for this? I was thinking there might be an easier way to add the line globally. I have done many, many manual tweaks like this one-by-one in the past, so I know the furniture in that room!
FWIW, I use BBEdit 6.5 99% of the time and I LOVE it. I also have Dreamweaver MX, but I find it incredibly sluggish on this iMac DV 400 w/ 10.2.6 and 512MB RAM.
BTW, this is a great list and I'd like to thank Dan for the fine work on the site and all the energy involved with the lists. I'm anxious to see the new design and wish you luck with it.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Jerry Rockwell
