Hello everyone;

I've been working on setting up a web site to do free Mac auction
listings for a little over a month now. During that time, one of the
untouched items has been how to get it started without causing problems.

If I send out mail to a bunch of people to tell them about the site, that
seems to turn me into one of the things I detest most... a spammer.
Doing that obviously causes grief against the very people I look to
invite as well as hurting the very thing that is to be promoted.

Just for background information's sake, the site is not going to be
profit. Not sure if that affects anything, but it at least gives you an
idea of the focus.

What are the best ways y'all know of that are appropriate and legit to
advertise that kind of site without stomping on the very toes I'd like to
welcome.

If I understand correctly, I could probably put the address here on the
bottom of this mail appropriately, but so far, its not quite ready for
that yet even if it is proper.

Feedback and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Don
