I wish I'd known: I could have used the time I spent writing those emails, in trying to finish my QA for 2.1. ;) Did I miss this news on the releases list? I've been watching for any news of the release-schedule discussion.

I take your mail as a plea for keeping necessary(!) localization efforts out of the micro releases but leaving it up to each NL project to decide individually if they want to use the micro releases for some catching up

Makes perfect sense. As Mox says, NLP projects with more resources may wish to put out changes in the point releases. My project won't be able to do much for 2.2, but I'll be happy at this stage to get QA done for 2.1. from Clytie (vi-VN, Vietnamese free-software translation team / nhóm Việt hóa phần mềm tự do)
