Hi all, I have created a way to use OpenOffice.org as separate applications in Mac OS X.
This is currently a prototype, to gather some feedback. It is easy to test it, you'll need an existing OpenOffice.org X11 installation for Mac OS X 1) unzip http://mox.fidisk.fi/opensource/ooo-apps.zip to your desktop. 2) drag the "OpenOffice.org 2" -folder to your /Applications -folder (this step is optional) 3) Go to your OpenOffice.org 2.0.app and CTRL-click to "Show Package Contents" 4) Go to Contents/MacOS 5) copy the 4 openoffice folders from there (i.e. help, presets, program, share) to /Applications/OpenOffice.org 2/Office -folder (or where-ever you placed the unpacked zip) Enjoy the separate applications by running them from /Applications/OpenOffice.org 2 Mox PS. for developers: this is just user stuff, no real code separation has been done.
